Following an eventful evening, the Journey Family arrived in Rhodes. In the morning, the group congregated on the top deck of the boat and took a group picture with the beautiful island of Rhodes in the background.
Subsequent the photo, the Journey students explored the island. Students headed out and took excursions to the Old City and Philerimos. We also visited the beautiful beaches close to our boat. The picturesque beaches had chairs and also a high dive, which many of us jumped off multiple times.
After a wonderful afternoon, we returned to our Majesty Cruise Ship and were greeted by Mr. Ted Laliotis from the National Hellenic Society. Each of our students personally thanked Mr. Laliotis for the National Hellenic Society’s generous sponsorship of our cruise.
Once on the ship, we prepared for dinner and our reception with Captain Leonidas Panopoulos. The reception featured appetizers and a ceremony where all Senior-Officers of the ship were recognized. At the conclusion of the reception, the Journey family walked up to the fifth deck and ate a buffet dinner at the Four Seasons Dining Hall. When the plates were empty, the Journey family relaxed and prepared for the final day of our cruise.
That was an amazing cruise. It must have been great to experience all that and at the same time learning about the Old City and Philerimos.
